Summary
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser; “local storage” is a similar browser feature. Quantiko (operated by GALAXICA LLC) uses a handful of strictly necessary cookies set by our sign-in system, one preference cookie that remembers your language, and three preference values in local storage. All of them are first-party — they are set by quantiko.com and are not shared with anyone.
Because they are strictly necessary for a service you asked for, or simply remember a choice you made, the EU ePrivacy rules do not require consent for them. Ads from our partners are different: they can load content from other companies, which may set their own cookies. So as soon as you open the site we ask, and again after six months: Accept all allows them; Reject, or closing the question, keeps only the necessary cookies.
Cookies we set
The name depends on the connection: on the live, HTTPS site the secure variant (with the __Secure- or __Host- prefix) is used. The sign-in cookies are HTTP-only (not readable by page scripts); all cookies are SameSite=Lax.

No analytics or tracking; partner ads only with your consent
We don't use analytics tools, social media pixels or any other third-party tracking. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page doesn't send your IP address to a font provider either.
The chat can show a sponsored banner. Our own banners (a picture or a card with the advertiser’s words, and a link) come from quantiko.com and set no cookies. Banners from our partners load content from other companies, which can see your IP address and may use cookies: they’re only shown if you chose Accept all, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the site’s pages, or with the button on this page.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page, or the button below. You can also view and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in. Deleting the language cookie means the site uses your browser's language again; clearing local storage resets your theme choice and asks about cookies again.
